Hi, just checking in. Met some of you at last saturdays' meeting in Simi. Would like to go Sunday, but believe I have alternate plans. I need a nice introductory run lol!

Hi Paul!! I remember you! Shame you can't make it out Sunday, pm me on here when you are free, I'd be down to go on a tandem run with you. And definitely keep an eye on this thread, I know we have a trail day coming up again in September.

You could have an Air Fuel ratio sensor and not an O2 sensor. Look underneath your hood in the emissions label. If you see A/F R you have and Air Fuel ratio sensor which operates completely different than an O2 sensor. Toyota was one of the first to implement them in vehicles. If you have and 02 sensor you should have resistance on the heater circuit. “Usually” a four pin connector means 02 sensor and five pins Air Fuel ratio sensor. Are you getting a DTC or any monitors not setting for smog inspection??

Thanks for the info. Yes I hv code P2238 and I need to get it smog tested ASAP. In CA to transfer title you have to re-smog. Sigh.
 
Sunday is also the only day I could go to the Camarillo Airshow which I had already talked to some people about. Aargh! 2 fun things on the same day!

Well, I'm a problem solver....how bout this: if we go off road, and we get high enough in altitude, maybe we can see the airshow from the mountain? :clap2:
 
Man, haven't been here in a while. Never been to Rowher Flats but I'll see you guys at the Jimmy Deans tomorrow. Should be a fun day!
 
Got home about an hour ago. Just settling down now. That was a blast. I had a lot of fun. Thanks to LT Ambrose 26 and Int for joining. You guys can wheel with me any time. Pics to be posted in the next day or so.

Next ride is coming up. We are looking at the 22/23 of September. Kind of curious to see what's in Santa Barbara. Has anybody on here been there before? Open to other suggestions as well.

Next month's trip will be different, probably a little harder. So, the details: Sunday, 8.19.18. Meet at the Jimmy Dean's on 22941 Lyons Ave, Newhall, CA 91321 around 10AM. Have a breakfast burrito, they are awesome. Then head out to the flats. There's a couple different ways to go, we'll figure that out once everyone shows up. Going to be a full day, so bring food and beverage. Lots of cool.stuff to do, and some awesome views as well. Should he q great day!
