There are beginning to be more and more 3rd Gens that are running Dual Cases. So Post up a pic or Video of your Rig and give us the info. Then what you like or dislike, and what will be the next step for you. In post 2 I will keep an updated Build thread list.

EDIT: Since 35's are really a secondary issue we have decided to drop that part of this Thread so tire size will not be a factor.

Damn dual locked !!! Badass. I've been drooling over a fzj80. They came factory SAS and front and rear lockers. Like really !!!! Why God lol. I'm debating wether to trade my fully build 97 for a 94 fzj80 that has a 6" on 37" and only a rear locker.

I have my dual setup all specced and priced out but unfortunately its just not in the cards financially right now...

A dual cased, dual locked rig that looks mostly stock is the end goal for me

You can do it in both.

Can be done with both but the auto is longer and requires cross member modification whereas it apparently just barely fits with the manual trans.

Just a suggestion: How about changing it to just dual cased 3rd gens? Anyone can throw 35's and a front locker in, but dual cases is a much more involved mod. I can see a lot of value in having all of the dual cased rigs compiled in one thread, lockers and 35's or not.

I am a huge fan of marlin's stuff but Trail-Gear has come a long way and that is who I used because marlin was out of stock. The quality is great. Get either that is in stock and who has a sale. Hard to go wrong either way. Oh and also inchworm is high quality also :fro: looking forward to having you join the club.
