The "Refreshing" of a '99 Limited
I guess this could be called a "build" thread although there won't be any crazy custom building going on, just the refreshing and renewing of what I consider a "classic family hauler". Maybe a more formidable name would a "bolt-on" thread since I'll be bolting on many new parts like suspension, bumpers, sliders, roof rack and various interior parts.
I'm starting with a clean 1999 Limited 4wd with 180K (no e-locker in this one :sobbing
that I purchased from a local owner off Craiglist. I believe I'm the 3rd owner of the truck with the previous owner having it most of it's life. Finding a truck with the e-locker was at the top of the list but with the condition of this truck and the history it was hard to say no. Add to that in our area of the country clean low milage (below 250K) are getting harder to find.

That pretty much sums up the plan. Pretty boring and run of the mill build but this is a good place to document and receive feedback on it. I have 2 small kiddos and use the 4Runner as commuter a few days a week so it's primary purpose will be hauling the family around with occasional weekend adventures.
