I'm still hoping someone will design a Scangauge holder that replaces the flip down sunglasses holder.

i would add that it can either hold a scangauge or a small ham or CB radio.

we have the ashtray mod for one radio, but so many times i feel the need to run both ham and cb.

I'm easy - I'd settle for being able to get factory front mud flaps.

I will be offering replica mudflaps very soon. both the full length and short stubby version as well as Fender flair cap that everyone was previously 3D printing.

That would be sweet. I'd much rather have something like that instead of the sunroof that takes up too much of my headroom and barely gets used. What I'd really like is something 3D printed or whatever that snaps into place and has a scangauge mount and a panel with 3 or 4 switch cutouts above it, in a stepped layout.

Nothing important, a modern digital pitch n roll angle indicator, altimeter, like 1st gen, with say 4 switch plugs built into 01-02 sunglass cubby minus sunglass cubby retaining interior lights, push a button to show compass, push again to show ???

Rear swingout double doors instead of the liftgate

Had those on our team's Excursion, kinda a pain in my opinion. I'd rather have a drop down tailgate like the 1st gen's. But I'd probably go with the swing outs over the lift gate as well, now that I think about it.

My old Yukon had barn doors and I much prefer the lift gate on my 3rd gen. A real tailgate that doesn’t require you to roll the window down to open would be cool though.

Yea, the window thing is a pain too. Especially in rain/snow. I suppose there isn’t a perfect solution for anything you’re gonna both drive and play in.

Steering wheel volume controls and an oil filter that is oriented better and with easier access.

This. My kingdom for some steering wheel volume controls. The aftermarket add on options are so cheap and poorly designed I don’t want to waste my money. I would kill for an add on kit in the $100 range that wasn’t total junk.

:noidea: I run a HAM and CB in the ashtray. CB hardly gets used now though.

I wish the 3rd gen had sliding rear windows like the 80 series had along with the hatch release inside with a tailgate. And a way to convert the lower ball joint to the new style that doesn't fail catastrophically.

i cant picture it in my head right now, but did you take out the two cigarette lighter adapters to fit both comm units?
