The XREAS mystery after lift install

The guy who was installing my lift called me and asked if I wanted to keep the XREAS on. I didn't have XREAS on my 4R so I was a bit confused and told him to take it off. Sure enough, the big box of parts that came back after the install had two XREAS labeled reservoirs.

Any explanation?

You might have it but not notice it.

Kinda looks like you did have it. Are you the second owner? They could of replaced the shocks once and you would never know the difference.

It was an option on Limited 4runners. You HAD the option but not anymore....

If I had it, I didn't have the adjuster in the center console. Really weird but I'm better off now with my new lift!

You are confusing the AIR bag system and XREAS. Xreas has no in vehicle controls.

The ride level (air bag) system had controls.

So far I am VERY pleased with the set up. I am glad I went with the 600# coils. Doesn't jar the car over potholes and bumps.

I am planning to adjust the front up about an inch. Right now it's set up bow down (even worse than stock). On the threads I am only about 25% down on adjustment.

This makes sense. I thought xreas was the air bag system.
