Also, I had the same back window broken on my old 96 when I got broken into. I wonder why they target that one? It didn't make sense to me at the time of why that window.

Jay12- Full coverage is nice to have, insurance is covering the repairs.
Webby- Even if the hood can be fixed, I'm not going to fix it, just going to replace it. They messed up the padding/heat shield as well as you can see in the pictures.
Seatown- I'm in SE Portland, and I'm sure glad they didn't take the recaro.

I don't know about there, but cops here won't even show up to a vehicle break-in/theft. They mail you the report for you to fill out and mail back. They really could not give less of a ****.
Super sorry to see that. I'm actually curious as to how they disconnected the battery. Did they get a cutting tool down through that hole and cut the cable or did they actually drill it accurately enough to wrench off the connection? It looks a little too far rearward for that. Also, I'm kind of confused because it seems like that would make a whole ****load of noise. I can't think of any way to quietly cut through metal. This was a pretty ballsy thief to do this right in your driveway.
That's really ****ed up. If they have the balls to do it to you, they would to it to any other person. Good thing my drive way is next to my bed room.I don't know about there, but cops here won't even show up to a vehicle break-in/theft. They mail you the report for you to fill out and mail back.
