I found out the other day after I hit the window lock button that it includes the rear window too, not just the three passenger windows.

Since it sounds like most of you were unfortunate enough not for Toyota to go over everything with you, you can change the photo when you turn on entune to whatever you would like. You just have to put it in a special folder on the USB.

Well I feel remotely bad now. I had the hour long session where everything was set up, entune was programmed and registered to my phone, and all the buttons and features were explained to me. Breakfast was even cooked for me with some Marley espresso.

Chris I did ask the salesmen to connect my phone to the T4R and that works fine, but I assume you're talking about something more elaborate with regard to programming the entune.

Mostly just the apps such as Bing, Yelp and what not (download the Entune app from the app store). I'm not sure if there was much else. I basically started pushing all the buttons and going through the menus until I figured most of it out.

Yup I figured that same thing out this morning. I was driving around holding the button and thought the darn thing must be broke. Then I stopped and realized the truck needs to be stopped to shut it off unlike the traction control. :embarassed:

I just found this out: there is a safety feature in the windows, those with dogs are all aware when they roll their head up in the window on accident!! The window will automatically stop going up and roll down. Try it, put your hand at the top seal and roll up the window till it hits your hand, the window immediatley goes down. Pretty neat little safety feature.

I was able to fully disable the skid control while driving through the parking lot skiing last weekend and then donut city. I will retest this weekend.

Thought my rear windshield washer/wiper was malfunctioning as it would not operate. After playing with the stalk control for miles, I stopped for gas. I exited my SR5 and looked at the rear window and saw that it was down maybe a half inch. Must have lowered it a little accidentally with my coffee mug.

Entered SR5, pulled the rear up/down switch ALL the way up and Voila, it works again. Page 207 of the manual says:

The rear window wiper and washer can be operated when

-Vehicles without a smart key system: The engine switch is in the "ON" position.

-Vehicles with a smart key system: The "ENGINE START STOP" switch is in IGNITION ON mode.

-The back window is completely closed.

It only took a half inch for this wiper/washer function to not work. Talk about sticking to the word "completely", they mean it.

I noticed if I tap the mist button (up on the wiper stalk) quickly it will pop the wipers up to a service/defrost position. Or is that just mine being weird/broken?

That's your wipers doing exactly the thing they are supposed to, as highlighted by Greg (1engineer) in this recent post about wipers icing up.

This is pretty obvious but I didn't really know where else to put it. When jamming out to music kinda loud, if someone calls you, it will cut straight to the call. When they hang up, if you rolled your windows up while on the phone... well, prepare yourself.

I don't think my 2011 does this. Was trying tonight while driving to Raton
