You just have to barely bump the stalk upward for a split second. If you hold too long it will just go across the windshield normally.

My 08 worked a little bit the same but I feel they got it more accurate this time around. If I filled up with a quarter tank, it would end up giving me lower avg trip distance than if I waiting till it was well below E. I've been trying to figure this one out still.

When you trip meter says zero miles left I think you have about 50 miles left before your tank is dry. Anyone mind trying to confirm? Thanks in advance.

This. Until you disconnect the battery, then it starts over.
Mine goes to about 270-280, I think, on a fill up.

Ha, the things I know I will look forward to once I mod my 4R out a little more. Right now I can still get the miles to empty to say 420 when I do long highway trips and about 375-395 when I do city/highway combined.

Disco ball in tailgate , which would to be activated with
"Party mode" button will be available in 2017 ONLY in the midwest region.
If you live in another region you will have to type in the zip
code from a midwest city in toyota's website, just to be able to see if there are
any party mode button actuated disco ball equipped 4runners.
Or you can order your party mode activated disco ball equipped
4Runner from your dealership straight From Japan, but it will take approximately 3 months to arrive. Please note that Party mode actuated disco ball equipped
4runners will only be available with premium package SR5,
Premium Trail, or Limited.
"Party mode" button will be available in 2017 ONLY in the midwest region.

I sit in DC traffic every day... I will never see anything above 300 once I avg out a few more tanks.... I'll have to disconnect my battery every month! ha

If I get the disco ball version will 285s rub? And will I be able to fit a 285 spare? Is it compatible with a stubby antenna and which one should I get?

Yes. Please submit proper EWR (engineering work request) in triplicate no later than Monday. This assumes you have already submitted the proper data studies and calculations required to justify the additional disco ball column addition to the Tire Fitment Guide.

Its just you. I had to teach my dealer things like changing the NAV regions since I was moving from San Diego, to Washington. My dealer, as most it seems, know nothing about the 4runners or a lot less than their main stream cars. I had 3 different dealers come out to try to figure out how to use the remote starter...
