I've only had my 4Runner a month and 2100 miles, but there's a few items that I've had some trouble getting used to. BTW, this is my first 4Runner, but my 5th SUV.
First of all, I have receiver mounted bike racks that I take off and on frequently (work car during the day, play car at night and weekends). Both racks use cinch bolts and the safety hooks make it tough to get the bolts in and get them threaded right. I'll probably end up cutting one of the safety loops off.
Cup holders - Yeah, I know it's not a big thing, but I drink coffee all day and i've already had 2 cups flip out in the last month. Solution will be a better cup, I guess.
Cruise control - it would be nice if the thing could remember it's setting after a stop sigh. This is the only vehicle I ever had that the cruise lost it's memory below 25 mph.
That's my entire list. Not bad, really, and considering the good things, pretty unimportant.
