Did you buy aftermarket UCA with it?

When did a 3 foot lift come out? Bro-crazy.

With 3" you need UCA's or your truck will drive like crap.

SAW or Wheelers rear springs are a great option. Toytec superflex as well, I started with SAW and moved to superflex hd when I put my steel bumper on.

before everyone yells at you, use the search bar and check out the lifted pics thread. People post their set ups and you can see what everyone is using.

Having said that, I am at about 2.5 up front and 1.5 in the rear. I am using the S.A.W. 1.5 coils for the rear and stock UCA. I am thinking about getting aftermarket UCA's because I cant get all alignment in spec. I recommend you get aftermarket UCA's if you're thinking of going 3 inches.

I apologize in advance but I did look at the lift thread and search for key word bilstein ultimate lift UCA required but having said that, I had mixed feedback. This is why I made a poll. if this is against forum policy, you may delete. cheers

I have 3" of front lift with Bilstien's, love the ride!! Rear is 1.5", via spacers. Added KO2's the same day...

If you're going above 2.5" in the front, you need UCA. You can go without it but your rig will wonder on the highway and possibly have uneven tire wear.

Yup.. I'm thinking is spending 400 on UCA worth of .5 inch height? I might adjust mine to 2.5 and get it over with.

I'm in between 2.5 and 3 inch up front with OEM UCAs. I don't have any handling issues. Not as good as stock obviously but nowhere near the "shopping cart" affect people complain about. I got the caster over 2 when aligning but I do still plan on going with aftermarket UCAs eventually just gonna put some miles on these first.

Does your tire wear out unevenly even after getting alignment done?

Every truck will be slightly different, that said, at 2.5" I was on the line for spec on caster. Around town it drove fine but it wandered on the highway, wasn't too bad until I put duratracs on then it really sucked. I got new UCAs and caster went to 3.7 and she drove great.

You will probably want UCA's eventually even at 2.5" but maybe not, that is where your trucks alignment comes into play. The majority of folks that debate UCA's end up buying new ones in the long run anyway.

Toytec kit with Eibach springs and SPC UCAs.

I had some issues of sagging upfront, so I have to crank the bosses up to their highest setting and install a spacer to keep the vehicle from listing to one side.

sagging because? are you heavy on the front or was it because of uca?

I never got a good answer. They sagged more than I expected--no heavy stuff up front and the UCAs are solid. I actually had a rake because I usually run the truck heavy in the rear with gear, but when there was a 2" difference between front and back I adjusted it to be near-level.

Tire is wearing evenly so far. Getting some new Falkens this weekend

All this being said, I would have gotten new UCAs but I'm debating brand and uniball vs ball joint. I'll see how it handles with the new tires and wheels and then go forward.
