Those of you with CBI tire carriers...

I'm having Tim over at DMZ Fab weld on my spindle and receiver for my tire carrier. (I just have the bumper)

I was wondering if I could get some close up reference pics of where the spindle gets welded and where the receiver gets welded.

Let me offer some advice on this. I had a CBI bumper on my Tacoma and later decided to add the tire carrier. To make sure it lined up I used the gate to mark the holes where they needed to go. I would not attempt this without using the gate for mock up.

All done! Thanks for the pics guys. Where did you tap into for the license plate light? Which wires

Looks good. I sent you a PM. I chose not to tap into any wires. Instead I used a universal trailer adapter to wire the license plate light up to. It plugs right into the existing trailer harness and only took a minute to do. Found the adapter at auto zone for about $7.
