Thoughts on Thorley Header - Short Tubes for 5th Gen

Fellows,

I did a search on the forum and found a bunch of threads talking about the TH Long Tubes, but nothing substantial came up about the TH shorts. Has anyone installed these? Thoughts? Worth it? Passing emissions? Voiding warranties? Anything else I should be aware of..?

I'm looking to install in conjunctions with the afe CAI and Borla's cat-back exhaust. Has anyone done similar?

Nobody has the short ones on this forum that I've ever read/heard about. I think 3 or 4 of us have the long tube ones.For the short ones,uou have to cut the 2 forward cats off the oem exhaust manifolds as they are made as one piece and then weld them on the DT shorties.

I think a few have over on the FJ forum if you wanted to search over there.

I have my headers off right now and need to contact URD and Doug Thorley about a problem. They have a pretty good size dent on the drivers side forward tube where it was contacting the shock tower when the engine is torqued up and moves.
