Thoughts on WHEELS

Went to my local shop Tandem Offroad, and they received their shipment of wheels in that they designed. These things look aggressive. Saw some people who went by same day and had them picked up and mounted. Evan Hughes from the GXOR side also had his bronzies mounted. They have 4 colors. Primer colored white, bronze, gunmetal gray, and matte black.

My current wheels are FN FX Pro's with that Gunmetal Gloss Gray. They look black in the sun. Can't really tell until you get some direct light on them that they've got some gray depth in them. My pics are awful...

Take a look. Thoughts? I was initially thinking gunmetal gray, but my entire truck is black and white. Now, I'm thinking matte black... but but but... what about getting the primer colored ones powder coated white?!?! Anyone put white wheels on a white truck. Pics appreciated.

My truck is the white one with the hood wrap (I hate glare). First one is Evan Hughes' truck with the bronze. Second one is another guy I know with Gunmetal Gray.

I love Bronze on white. I have a White 4R and I am pretty much doing a stormtrooper build, but ill be putting bronze or copper wheels on it in the future

EVERYONE does black. Ugh. Will look great with your black/white theme but so overdone.

White on white is for Honda civics.

They're great. Good techs and they don't try to oversell or cut corners. I've spoken to a few of their suppliers, and they give high praise to them as well for both workmanship and product representation.

I know they have some other designs coming up and they look pretty good. They did my first lift (Toytec) and now they're doing my long travel. They also did all of my wiring. No bird's nest in my dash or under the hood!

I hear you on the black. I think bronze may be a little too off from my theme so far. I know it'll look good, but the theme! That's why I'm thinkin' white. Not many people with white and it still matches. Also, it should provide great contrast from the rest of the vehicle.

I wanted to get in line for a set of their Bronze wheels, but my wife wasn't feeling the bronze. Guess we'll just stick to black like everyone else. My vote is bronze.

Cement 4runnerwould look great with gunmetal gray. U could go primer color and do your own paint match.

W00t! I just confirmed before Lone Star Toyota Jambo that I'm getting my Fury Offroad RTs in. They'll be going on my new wheels, which I still haven't decided ARRRGGGHGHGHGHGHG.

U can get them there. I had a few in my hands. I like the aggressive look on the outer rim. It's also a bit thicker than most.

I’ll weigh in again. The black will look perfect with your theme. I think you’ll regret white wheels. They will always be dirty between road dirt, brake dust, and trail dirt. They’re always gonna look grimy and that dirt and dust will collect in every nook and cranny.

If you’re not sure about bronze or graphite, I’d take black over white for sure.

I'm debating a place in Midland, That place, or a place my friend recommended me to somewhere around Richardson. I'll be doing my Toytech spacer lift only. Ordering tires from Toyota. With the by 3 pay a dollar for 1, I can get 4 285/70/17s for $850, mounted.

I run fn fx pros right now. I like em but want more aggressive look with the features that the tandem 612s offer.

It all looks so tempting.
