Tire light blinking, not staying on

My tire light is blinking. However, I don't have low pressure but one of the sensors when out on the front driver side tire, or so I am told. I believe the part is upwards of $100. Is there an easier fix for this? The guy at NTB said after reading the tire light codes that the sensors don't have a replaceable battery. Thank you.

Unfortunately I have the same problem and the problem is that one of your TPMS sensors is bad and is not reading correctly and needs to be replaced. If it has to do with low pressure, it stays on.

Yeah they do cost around 90-100. I just dont feel like spending that right now for something like that so im just going to hold off til i have the extra money

My wife's camry has tires without the sensors programmed to the car yet. Every 500 miles or so it'll flash for a while then go back to staying on solid again. I think it's trying to tell you it's been a while since you looked at it.

Blinking "usually" means dead sensor. Solid is low tire. Agreeing with previous post and check the spare. Any discount tire can scan your sensors and tell you which one is bad

I bought sensors from ebay and after my tire place had mounted them used one of these to register the sensors and reset the light.

Question regarding the battery in the sensors: I currently have 4 sensors that I removed from my stock wheels but are not installed in my current wheels yet. Is this going to cause the batteries to die and the sensors worthless when I get around to installing them?

The spare is fine. So I guess my only option is to replace the faulty sensor... Could I pull a fuse for that specific function so the light doesn't go on at all?

There's a quick way (splicing some wires near the ECU) to turn off the light on some 4Runners. Fuse pull or simple wire cutting will not work, unless you get to the bulb itself which is too much work.

I don't think the system is worth the expense to change all five sensors as the batteries die. My 4R is over 7 years old and the batteries are still good. I live in moderate weather so maybe that helps some.
