tire size with lift kit

I am planning on installing a 3inch OME lift kit on my 2001 4Runner. I was wondering what size tires I will be able to fit on. I was also looking for suggestions on make and model tire if anyone has any suggestions. I am also curious as to if I will need to extend my brake lines. Thanks for any help

Technically, you can fit almost any depending on how involved you want to get with remodeling the inner fender wells and body mount chopping, regearing etc... As for the three inch lift, 285's fit we'll with very minor adjustments. I run Good Year Duratracs in 285/70/17. You will see quite a few people on the forum run this size. Your break lines will be just fine as is with that lift and a set of 33s. Just search around on here and you will learn and find exactly what you're looking for. Have fun!
