Tires - White Letters in or Out?

I've collected many pictures to try and help myself decide when I need new tires. My opinion is that I like the SR5 rim and Limited rim with the white letters IN. However on the sport it depends what color 4Runner you have. Silver looks good with the letters IN. Dark color sports looks better with the white letters OUT. The dark wheel well of a dark color sport makes the rim look much worse if you have the white letters in. I don't know why but the rim looks too plain to me with the white letters in on a dark sport. Here are some examples (I borrowed a picture of ilovesnow's 4Runner - top).

Opinions

IMO white letters should never show. Black out,white in.

Stay with the white letter out. IMO the white letters out has a sportier look. SUV = Sport Utility Vehicle. Historically sports cars have raised white letter tires.

Make sure that they will pay advertising for showing the tire name and brand, should be worth about $1,000 per year.:wink2:

i say with alot of chrome accents including wheels, letters out looks ok, id still put them in ,but if you had black accents & wheels id say always letters in.
