Tires????

I'm sure there is only one right answer, so tell me what it is.
Just picked up a 15 Trail edition (red). I'm planning on doing a getho TRD PRO look I've ordered the grill and trd pro wheels (black) but I need tire advice. I am planning to lift my 4runner 1-2" but will likely never do any crazy off-roading (yes I'm comfortable being a poser) and I do higher mileage (gas be damned). Big thing is they need to look cool. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks

Would be helpful if you add details about the look you want or how much ride and comfort you may be willing to give up for that look. Even though it's a poser (not judging as mine is a pavement princess), do you want a rugged off road look with aggressive tires like mud terrains or more like all terrains or even street tires?

Suggest looking around and build threads and pix or even google images. That should give you lots of ideas.

you're welcome!:tea:

Haha you are way too nice! You must be from Canada eh?

Are you going to stay with the stock size or go up to a 275 or 285? That's the first thing to decide. Your choices in a 275/70-17 are some what ltd. especially in a C rated tire.

Thanks

The basic plan is to lift it 2". and put on a Gobi or Baja rack. After that who knows I'm seeing all kinds of cool stuff I never even thought about.

I just finally figured out what that word in your OP was. Do they really spell ghetto that way up there? :behindsofa:

I had the stock size p rated duratracs on my FJC and was extremely happy with them. Smooth riding, outstanding rain, excellent in the snow, balanced up really nice and looked awesome
