To all who disconnect sway bar links...

I read on this forum that one could disconnect both sway end links and zip-tie the sway-bay up out of the way. I'm here to warn you this may not work. I tested this yesterday by disconnecting both sway bar end links and pushing the sway bar up all the way. I then used a fork lift to flex the vehicle with the front tires turned (did it in both directions) and the sway bar hit the inside tire on the fully extended side. I have no lift, 265/75/16 tires with stock rims.

If the sway bar was left in a more level position, it did not hit. Thought I'd share my discovery...

I've had my mstudt double discos off on the front for a year and haven't had an issue with the bar hitting anything. I agree with keeping it level.
