I quit once for 6 months lol.. circumstances... just keep building shit and WORK OUT as much as you can!! Helped me a lot.

Good job on the quitting. Everything you have and will go thru is worth it to kick that habit. I quit 4 yrs ago and still crave. I remind myself often that as long as i dont have just that first one, i dont have to worry about all the rest, just that one. Seems to make it more manageable for me. Good job and good luck.

It took at least 100 attempts for me to quit, March 1999 was my last smoke! 5 years ago I started using skoal pouches, which was way harder to quit than the cigarettes. But I'm off those now too (4 months now) Keep it up, keep modding, building, whatever it takes and if you slip up, no worries, just keep trying and you'll kick the habit.

This is an option for you also if you find your self struggling. Go and talk to your Dr. about Chantix. I can speak from the experience with my wife. When we first dated I told her that if this relationship goes any place it will be with out her smoking plain and simple. She though I was joking about it. Told her if we were going to be married, have a family etc that she had to suffer through it with me and not kick over because of smokes(she had other healthy issues also so that was my driving force to make her stop). She quit no BS a week after taking Chantix. The stuff works like it says. She has not touched one since. That was almost 7 years ago. It is not cheap, but your wife, kids, and family are worth more than this costs to see them all grow up. My .02 bud.

I had an old roommate years ago who used chantix to stop smoking. Long story short I came home one evening and he had shaved half of his head. One of the weirdest nights of my life.

I caved once about eight months after I quit, bummed a smoke from a friend and stepped outside. It was horrible. It tasted like shit, it made me sick, I had the stink in my nostrils for hours afterwards and it did nothing for my stress level. It really helped me get over the psychological dependance, that feeling that I needed a cigarette even though I was over the addiction.

I haven't really wanted one since. Give it a shot, go smoke one. I bet you see how vile it is and never want one again. :)

I had two buddies try Chantrix. It worked great for one of them, but the other one started having dreams about murdering his wife and kids. He stopped taking that shit post haste.

I used Wellbutrin and it worked great - I couldn't have quit without it! On the other hand, my brother tried Wellbutrin and it gave him anxiety so bad he had to be hospitalized.

So they're definitely worth trying, just make sure you're in close contact with your Dr. when you do and be ready for side effects.

Like I said before, you have to talk to a Dr. about it. It is classified as an Anit Depressant if I"m not mistaken. I'm pretty sure about that. Like anything, if you have crazy side effects get off of it.

I once I had crazy shit happen to me when I was on some stuff called Amitriptyline. Shit made me want to jump out windows. That shit when in the trash ASAP! Fing military medicine thinking it would help after Afghanistan. Right!

Its great you quit man. I stopped in 4/12 after 20+ years, best thing I ever did. I used the V2 electronic cigs, still do occasionally. I found that they helped me to get over cravings and they taste great.

Stay busy, let it go, move on and enjoy////
