Too much weed in Colorado? $57k for TEP

Someone was smoking too much ganga at work today...

I thought we had it bad in CA paying above sticker for TRD Pro...in Colorado they are charging nearly $60k for a Trail??? Just by throwing on the TRD Pro lift, skid, tires and a badge??

I am thinking there are errors on cars.com, because there are two 4runners in the mid 50k range in Colorado?!?!!?

New Mexico is as bad or worse. The locals roll over and pay it so the dealers expect nothing less than MSRP. Too many low information buyers.
 
Given the number of modified douche bags I pass daily it really doesn't surprise me.

The FJ guys wave to me more than modded 4runners, sad.



Personally I like my vice to come in 12 oz cans or Growlers. :usa:
 
Prices for everything in CO have gone insane. They charge a premium for freakin PBR at some bars. We gave up and moved.

This is true, even with the big 3 brands.

Pretty crazy they want $8k for the TRDP treatment.

Somebody will pay it though.
 
I have to think that is a mis-print on the cars.com web site. Last time I was at Larry Miller a couple of weeks ago, they were selling TEs with a ToyTec Ultimate lift, sliders, smoked head and tail lamps, TRDP wheels with 285s for a $10K sticker markup over MSRP. That's still well below the listed cars.com price for a stock TE.

I think I'm going to go ahead and list mine for sale on CO autotrader and craigslist so I can flip this thing and then buy a TRD Pro here :mullet:
 
Haha, and to think I just bought one down the street for $37k. White TEP, none of the dealer installed stuff, $20k for that, no thanks....

I give them kudos for being a dealer cool enough to install a Toytec lift with sliders!

Your Toyota dealer? I'm not far from there but more 470/Wads. I go to that high plains tap house occasionally, at chatfield/wads
 
Do we have a name for these fake TRD Pros that seem to be cropping up at dealers and on the forums?

I'm thinking "TRD Faux". Don't want the owners who paid the premium for the real thing getting bummed out.
 
They did the Pro conversion to a trail without KDSS?
