Most likely any synthetic oil will do you right in the long run over dino. My personal experience with synthetic is that its completely worth it for cold starts. Much easier on very cold mornings. Living is Summit County Colorado for 5 years most mornings in Jan were -20 to -35. Our engines definitely sounded happier with Mobil 1. Especially my wires Turbo Subaru. Not near as cold down here in Durango 
Plus I don't feel bad if I push oil changes out to 10K or more but most happen at 8000 for our current driving conditions. My fleet is no longer under warranty so I don't really care what the 'book" says.
