i have a mechanic that my family has used forever. they are good and i trust them, however they do not do all types of work.
i seem to have a wore out gasket or something in the case for the rack an pinion steering. its a slow leak and other than need to top off the steering fluid every other oil change its not really an issue, but id like to get it fixed. seems like its a bit of a job and my mechanic recommended i take to a toyota dealership.
so my question is, is there a place to check on the quality of a local toyota dealership's auto shop? i just don't truest most mechanics and just because its says "toyota" on the outside, doesn't mean all that much to me.
