For those interested in knowing more about Toyota Fortuner, please take a look at Toyota. Just go to the left side and select in the vehicles section the Fortuner model

Fortuner is currently being sold in Latin America with the following engine options

2.7L 4-cyl petrol engine
4.0L 6-cyl petrol engine
3.0L diesel engine

Manual/Automatic transmissions and 4x2 / 4x4 are available

i've driven a fortuner and i must say its kind of an uncomfortable ride, suspension is kind of brutal but over all it is a very reliable vehicle. i've heard rumors that the appearance of the fortuner was the reason they discontinued the diesel 4runners in latin america in 06.

I came across this in an Asian Toyota site... It looks like a t4r/sienna. Looks cool to me, specially that turbo diesel...

This vehicle is found in a lot of the asian and european countries. It uses a body on frame. This is based off of the Hilux pickup truck. The pickup truck version was heavily modified and taken to the Artic on an episode of Top Gear (British version).

This is based off of the Hilux pickup truck. The pickup truck version was heavily modified and taken to the Artic on an episode of Top Gear (British version). Basically, 4runner/tacoma that's made for the other markets (smaller version with diesel)

those pics on the link to the 2012 hilux you posted aren't 2012, the red one is the ausie trd version, the next one is between 09 and 11 and the rest are between 06 and 08. the 2012 hilux is is having some minor changes.
