That last line is awesome. That is coming from a former Army Ranger too.

you guys seen the new one where he drives the hilux up a volcano? that's a pretty good episode as well, huge top gear fan much better then that cheesy knock off 5th gear.

also have you guys seen the arab stunt driving those guys are nuts, 2 wheels for miles through traffic i can't find the right video right now but this one gives you an idea.

My dad owns a 1990 Hilux diesel in Sri Lanka. It keeps running.... People in Sri Lanka loves Toyota's. Hilux is a one special choice. I maintained it and remember only changing oil and filters. Don't even remember a day I replaced a bulb!
Toyota also makes a van called Hiace..... again this is a beast.... Both the hilux and hiace share the same diesel engine.

This is the truck! 2.8 L 4 cylinder!
See the extra large window visors. Hard to find these in the USA for my 4runner

I have a 97 hilux with 1kzt motor and is very durable, but the more resistant engine of toyota hilux is the 3L which came in the second generation.
