Toyota want me to Fix it....Can I?

My CV boot is leaking grease cause the seal is broken....(my fault during the ICON install. I wanted to see what was under the rubber thingy)

My Power steering fluid is thinning and looks burnt or something like that...He wants to replace a hose or something.

The throttle has some carbon buildup. he wants to take the block apart and clean it.

All together he want 1k for the fixes.

What can I fix myself?

All of it can be done yourself. What specific ps line is it? The axle boot is easy. The throttle body cleaning is 10 min tops. Since im local i could help you out... for beer...:beer::cheers:

Beer, all you want and all you can drink...... its cheaper than $1k

You don't need to take the block apart to clean the throttle body…… is the guy crazy?!?!

The dealership wants to clean mine to the tune of $100 bucks or so. Sounds a bit overpriced for 10 minutes of work...am I right?

$100 would be about an hour labor. Thats about what most dealerships would charge. Since its only 10 mins just do it yourself.
