Probably due to sales of the Prius. They can't get them fast enough.

The Prius recorded its best-ever overall sales month of 7,078 units, an increase of 120.2 percent over February 2004.

Just wondering if that is just new buys. What about the resale value of the prius.

Some people that are buying the prius are actually selling them second hand for a profit.

I can attest to the best resale value. I just went this weekend to trade in my 2003 SE Runner for an 05 SE V8 Runner and the dealer is giving me almost $4000 OVER KBB. KBB states it is worth around $19,400 but the dealer is giving me $23,000. A mighty fine deal if I don't say so myself. Was very surprised when they offered this. They are also taking $3000 off the new one too along with getting 3.9% APR. It was funny that when we used to have GM cars we basically had to beg them to pay them off and many times they wouldn't so we kept it. Just two COMPLETELY different worlds...glad I am in the world of Toyota now.

How many miles did you have on the 2003? Just curious
