toytec spacer lift LA & OC!!! HELP PLEASE IN SO CAL

so i sucessfully lifted my 3rd gen with the toytec 3 inch spacer... and i thought it would be the same procedure with my 4th gen... however after removing lower shock mount bolt and the three nuts on top... i could not remove the shock... it did not pop out like did in my third gen...

i tried prying it out, tried pulling with all my might (which apparently is not enough)... i spent 3 hours using different strategies... i even tried compressing the coilover but the sway bar was in the way... (my 3rd gen did not have the sway bar)...

anyways long story short I NEED YOUR HELP ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE IN THE SO CAL (SPECIFICALLY LA AND ORANGE COUNTY BORDER)... LET ME KNOW IF THERE ARE ANY GOOD SHOPS OR IF YOU CAN COME DOWN AND HELP ME OUT...

I WOULD RATHER HAVE THE HELP THEN TO BE OVERCHARGED SOMEWHERE... I WILL PROVIDE THE BEER AND PIZZA...

I have the same lift as you and the coilovers will be a b***h to get back in but anyway, I removed the sway bar entirely while installing and the instructions say to remove the castle nut from the lower ball joint? maybe I can't remember, but I didn"t do that being afraid I'd pull the hubs apart.

just take the sway bar off.

the bottle jack was a lifesaver when trying to press the lower control arm down and put coilover back in, fyi.

thanks for the replies but i just got some B-Day money and just had the pros install... PLUS they did the alignment after... all for $250 not bad...
