If you are directing that question at me, then here is my response: I installed 285/70/17's about two weeks post Toytec Ultimate lift. The front mud flaps had to be removed immediately as they rubbed quite badly when reverse turning. Yes, I still have a teeny tiny bit of rubbing on the body mount just posterior to the front wheels, but only when reversing at full lock. The "body mount chop" should stop said rubbing in its tracks. As far as acceleration is concerned, I went from 265/70/17's to the 285's and YES, acceleration is SLIGHTLY affected. Rather than saying that it "accelerates slower", I'll say that it is not as "peppy". I still feel the same horsepower, but the gearing feels a tad "off". I am perfectly happy with it as I retired from NASCAR many years ago and thus, am not racing around... and after all, it's an SUV. ALL in all, it was worth it.
