So you basically selected Registered ID1 Code and hit the erase button in the tech scream then add the code for the winter tire then his the record button? Is the order of the ID matter?

I've done this six times, about to do the seventh. Each time I take it into the Toyota dealership with my code numbers on a sheet and ask if someone can input the numbers. They do it for about $15-$20, sometimes no charge. I do not believe the order of the numbers matters, but not sure. The tech just goes down my list, changing out the summer codes inputting the winter ones. Takes all of two minutes with the tech stream.

So, if I'm just swapping wheels out (taking off Trail wheels and installing TRD Pro wheels), what needs to be done with the sensors? Dealer wants to charge over $200 to swap wheels. Said reprogramming was the costliest part.

We had different wheels installed on our 2013 Avalon and we experience none of these extra charges. Is the dealer trying to pull one on me?

That's not right, sensors will just swap over. I swapped out my trail wheels for pro wheels and the dealer didn't charge me anything. No need to reprogram as you are using your original sensors.

Thanks for the response. Yeah, I talked to a technician at another dealer this afternoon and he called BS.
