Trail edition factory roof rack

Those of you that installed the trail rack on a newer 4R, did you reuse the bolts that were securing your non-trail rack or the ones that come with the hardware kit (PT27835130HW) you can buy?

The cross bars you can get, it's the H brackets that the cross bars require to mount to the roof rails that are not available and no part number seems to exist for.

I had ordered the cross bars a few yrs ago and cannot find the PT again.

I wanted to add an extra set to my 10-13 trail rack.
The H blocks don't come with the cross bars, even though is shows on the directions, the dealer had said the H blocks now come with the rails. He even thought that was stupid.

I have (2) complete trail racks currently but am not running any crossbars right now. I will check my crossbars and h blocks to see if I can can see any part numbers.

It was unique to the TE from 10-13, and just looks better IMO. It sits a little taller and has a ruggedized design aesthetic. See the pic below.

Only issue is rear narrows down as far as width !

Has anyone come across anything they mount on the outer channels of the rails? I have the factory hooks that slide in but what else has anyone found that fits or you can mount in that channel?

i havent come across anything...i figure with the amount of time i spend on this and two other forums i would have seen something haha. it feels like there is an opportunity here, but i dont have that kind of know how or skill unfortunately.

If I didn't have an $1800 rack and awning set up, I'd go for that.

It's an Eezi Awn k9 rack and their largest Lite awning.
