Thanks Rickashay! I wish I could wheel as much as you do! Your scenery is just epic all the time! And yes there are some days I miss the clean, sharp look of the white one, but I feel like I have carried it over to this one. But in the end 4WD makes it something so much more. Thanks for keeping up with the build
 
Nice! Normally, I prefer the old school Yota look of chrome bumpers on the 96-98's, but the anthracite-ish bumpers and grille work very nicely with your Sunfire Red paint!
 
Time to change the plugs. Old ones were getting bad.

Took the time to give the roof a full wax since everything was off of it.

Drove up to TN today to pick up a older savage off road bumper I found on Craigslist. Needs some fresh paint and I think it will look great! Got it for a steal of $180!!!!!!

You have no idea how much I want to put it on, but I'm going to wait til I get my truck back. I'm dropping to tomorrow for some mild hail damage repair...so I figured I'll hold out til then. So it will be a few waiting days...
 
Nice build on both runners, I thought that bumper looked familiar I talked to the guy about it but got hung up at work and couldn't get it. Anxious to see how it looks on yours. I will be following along keep up the great work.
 
wow man, both of your runners are super clean!!! I can't wait to see how that new bumper looks. I am fairly new to the forums but from all my browsing through the builds your runners are by far the cleanest builds I have seen. I hope mine comes out as good as yours looks.

Is that a custom build bumper or can you buy it somewhere?

Thanks for the kind words man, I try to keep up with all the other great looking trucks on here. As for the bumper, I think its custom, the guy i bought it from said it was 2 years old, so could just be a old design. However it was made by Savage Offroad who makes bumpers very similar to this currently, ive heard good things about them. I plan to but sliders from them at some point.
 
I like how your build is so simple and tasteful. This is turning into one of my favorites.

What happened to the little TRD decals you had on your wheels? I always thought that looked really neat.

Thanks man, as for the TRD decals on the wheels I took them off when I swapped them to the red truck, the reds would have clashed. I might find like some silver ones some day. However I did add these the other day :cool:

Boom! I like the TRD decals there. I'm not sure if I want to add those on mine yet. I mean, I do want to, but I don't because I like the debadged look. I really want simplicity in my 4runner. Plus everyone has some sort of TRD decal on theirs haha!
