Tranny cooler suggestions

I bought this one satuday at napa, will it be big enough? its the same size as the b&m and $30 less..

First u saved like 16.00 not $30 and just because there physically the same size DOSENT mean they will work the same. B&m is proven to work I wouldn't want to try something just to save $16

I believe that I read where some of you have the oil coolers installed and in the winter you have them on bypass. Can you give a picture of your install? What or how do you bypass?

Scan gauge ll is that reading radiator temp ? I use a bluetooth odb2 and torque pro app only let's me see radiator temps. Here's my install

I've got the sending hose on top and return line on bottom mounted sideways. I had to take off the fan guard? The big plastic thing on the radiator to get my zip ties good. I'm not mechanically inclined only took 1 hr to do. Had a hard time getting hose off the steel lined so I took razor and just cut them at the steel line so much easier then trying to pull off.

From Trans should always be bottom line when mounting sideways. Top should be return to Trans

I have a question, I haven't installed my B&M Transmission Cooler yet. I was wondering when you do, you're going to lose some transmission fluid. Did you guys topped it off afterwards?

I installed B+M last year but performed and engine replacement this Spring and placed a second cooler, as I tow a sportboat. Temps are acceptable now as I installed a gauge last year and monitored temps... I have no complaints now through boating season!

How do you go about filling your transmission fluid? Can I just fill it into the cooler itself?
