Do all gen 4's have transfer cases allowing tight turns in 4wd. Im thinking about one for my daughter. I asked in the gen4 forum and didnt get a answer about all or which ones. I know the v8 awd will be ok but the v6's ?

As far as I know only V8 4th gens come with center Torsin differential. All other 4th gens come with part time 4WD system. This is what I observed when I was in market to buy a 4th gen 2 years ago.
And regarding the V8s, if you lock the center diff, it will act like a part time including the turn radius. But when the center diff is not locked, both full time and part time 4th gens have almost the same turn radius.
Off topic: As far as I know, only the 200 Series LCs have turn assist that operates on 4-low only with applying break on the inner rear wheel. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
my 5th gen platinum edition has the 450hp supercharged v8. its also go two Torsen centre diffs; one for forward, one for reverse. doesn't bind at all when you put it in all wheel drive, not even with the optional 4 wheel steering.
But can you fit 285's on it without rubbing?
35x12 on 17's, even with the TRD big brake kit. no glass or LT require :deadhorse:
@ OP: but srsly, why is this in the 5th gen forum when you're asking questions specifically about 4th gens?
