Hello...I have a 2004 4runner Sport. 106,000 miles on it and I have not done any type of transmission service yet. I was going to try and tackle myself but need some advice. Should I replace just the fluid or do a fluid and filter change? I called the dealership and he said he does not recommend replacing the filter just changing to fluid for $70.00. He didnt go into details and I didnt ask him why not replace the filter. Also what fluid is best to replace with? Thanks for the advice.
