Travel Trailer Towing Accessories

My wife and I may finally get a travel trailer and im trying to get my plan of attack together so I have some questions for yall. Im looking in the 3500 to 4000 lb dry weight range.

- Do any of you tow specifically a travel trailer in this weight range and if so how does it feel? About where are you seeing your loaded weight ending up?

- The Hensley hitch isnt in my price range but what would you suggest for a good weight distribution/ sway control hitch? Ive always heard Equalizer was good but know there are other options too and have zero experience with them.

- If I get one that is wide enough to need tow mirrors, what set seems to work well? If there are some cheaper cameras instead im open to that as well.

- What is a good proportional brake controller? The Tekonsha P3 was the one I was thinking about.

I tow an rPod 179, which is a bit lighter than what you're talking about, but in the same range. It weighs about 3000 dry and probably 3500 loaded. Hitch weight is about 300 lbs, I think. I don't use a weight distribution hitch, but I do have OME 896 rear springs which give extra stiffness. The 4runner and trailer sit nice and level. I use a standard "sliding brake bar" sway control, and have zero issues with sway at any speed I care to go (I've had it past 75 mph for short periods, although I generally keep it under 70)

The rpod has a narrow enough body that I don't need mirror extensions, but I want to get a rear camera so I can see cars right behind me.

I got my brake controller from e-trailers.com. Can't remember the brand, but it was about $85, and works fine.
