Rigids will be further down the line but I'm gonna get the mesh and do the bumper and the grill.

Looks great man. Are you running stock suspension with DS lift and the demello bumper? I was under the impression that you would need to upgrade the suspension to handle the additional weight of the bumper?

yeah shocks and coils are stock, the demello is a fairly light bumper so It probably made the suspension sag about an 8th of an inch.

thanks! and I visited Sam Houston State friday for a college day and went to the huntsville ORV area on the way back. and I went to Sugar Hill yesterday, It was basically underwater. So muddy!

Too dang funny. I tell my 16 yr-old son, Conner, to come and see the photo you posted of your rig pulling out the Ford Raptor (he's a big Raptor fan). He says, "I just saw that photo on Instagram!" Turns out he's one of your followers. He posts photos of my 4Runner (he drives it to school) and follows every Toyota off-roader he can find on Instagram. We discovered that a lot of my photos are on Instagram jeeprecoveryteam.

So how come you didn't make it to Lone Star Toyota Jamboree? We did a Demello bumper photo with Jason Demello's rig.

I wanted to go but I had family stuff to be at. my cousin and mom both had birthdays and I was helping my aunt & uncle move in. Next year I'm for sure going, i'm sad to have missed out on the demello photo op! How was meeting jason?

Jason is very cool. I learned a lot just talking with him about his 4Runner mods. I think he said this was his 4th time to attend the event, and he plans to keep attending, so you'll get to meet him next year.

Well...he is beta testing an aluminum version of his front bumper. If he decides it is durable enough and puts it into production, I may be putting mine up for sale so I can get the alum version.
