TRD Exhaust - Available in 2020 M.Y.

The 2020 TRD Pro comes standard with the TRD exhaust from the factory. I'm sure Toyota will offer for it sale much like they do with the Tacoma and Tundra exhaust.

Has anyone heard when it will go on sale and does anyone have a part number for it?

I'm a fan of the TRD exhaust I had on my 3rd gen. Looks like a side exit.

Will the exhaust add any HP (even if small) at all?

I think that in theory it should but doesn't look that Toyota is differentiating HP between TRDP and others.

Adding any less restrictive exhaust is going to add a few HP

Sounds like an angry blender to me just like the old trd exhaust and most other exhaust systems for the 4.0

Borla, magnaflow or stock FTW.

Yeah... agreed. It'll be interesting to see if they release any horsepower difference for the 2020 TRD PRO, even if by like 5 hp. This engine is just not one that's built or tuned for acoustics, so no matter what exhaust you choose, not sure it's really worth it.*

Truck has zero personality tho. Be nice to have some grunt.

I would also like to get some more low RPM noise to make up for lack of pedal feel. Makes cresting obstacles just a bit easier/safer.

I feel like it's reeeeeeally hard to make non-performance V6's sound like anything remotely interesting. Ford GT? Yeah, that thing sounds bad ass. 4Runner? eeeeehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.... I'll enjoy the peace and quiet.

Yeah I'm with you but it can be done. Nivida did a great job with their exhaust for the VQ35DE sounds like a fricken gtr.

It costs real money to tune exhausts for sound let alone power.

I'll swap my stock one out if I ever run into an excess of funds. Until then silent has its perks for sure.
