Are you guy having private shops install the lift or Toyota dealer? Just curious if it's a lot of coin to have it put in. I'm sure there will be differences in prices, but just wanted a ball park figure.
So you still have 2" rake? I thought I saw on the Toytec site that it levels it as well. Although it also says it lifts 2" up front and 2" in back. I might have misread it. I'm on the fence with this kit. I don't plan to go with bigger tires until these are ready to be replaced. But, I like how yours looks with the stockers....What to do, what to do?![]()
I have the same question and sentiment. The pictures of the folks that do have it done don't seem to show a rake. (Thanks Hipsterdoofus and simonsay)
I want to make sure its not something hidden in the perspective of the photo.
Biggest, additional reason I wanted the TRD was that the front wasn't as raked as the other models including the 2004 SR5 I used to have.
I really want this kit but if the rake is back then that will help me calm down about getting it. Or maybe just putting the front on and getting a 1" spacer for the rear if that exists.

There seems to be a little rake, here's another pic. Yeah, I know I am a shitty photographer :amen:

Thanks for the picture! there does seem to be a rake but the height of the lift also seems to make it less obvious. Looks like another purchase I need to make for the truck!
simonsay thanks for the measurements too. I saw them earlier in your posts so it does look like there is a 2" rake then after all. Don't know how much sag to expect out of the rear. Maybe I'll ask Toytec if they can swap the 2" lift rear-springs for 1 and 1/2" lift ones.
What about just putting the CO spacers on the front?
Hipsterdoofus By no means was I commenting on photography skills! BTW I saw a Quicksand Tundra TRD Pro out here near the Toyota training center but I actually think it looks better on the 4Runner. Congratulations on the new ride!
Should be the exact same
yep... code 112710 gives you a $20 discount... that's about the cost of the shipping. Oh well, should have checked that first...
