Trd pro lift question

Just got it home, feels great, tracks great. They insisted aligning it and I wasn't about to argue. I didn't ask if it was out or by how much. I freaking love it!

Are you guy having private shops install the lift or Toyota dealer? Just curious if it's a lot of coin to have it put in. I'm sure there will be differences in prices, but just wanted a ball park figure.

Private for me. They've done a few for me. A few hundred dollars total. Same here shop that's done 2 jeeps for me.

I had a shop that does lots of lifts on Jeeps do it. Cost me $450 with alignment.

So you still have 2" rake? I thought I saw on the Toytec site that it levels it as well. Although it also says it lifts 2" up front and 2" in back. I might have misread it. I'm on the fence with this kit. I don't plan to go with bigger tires until these are ready to be replaced. But, I like how yours looks with the stockers....What to do, what to do?

I want to make sure its not something hidden in the perspective of the photo.

Biggest, additional reason I wanted the TRD was that the front wasn't as raked as the other models including the 2004 SR5 I used to have.

I really want this kit but if the rake is back then that will help me calm down about getting it. Or maybe just putting the front on and getting a 1" spacer for the rear if that exists.

With the tape measure, 38 up front and 40 in rear. The rear springs may settle a little as time goes by... either way, I love it.

Thanks for the picture! there does seem to be a rake but the height of the lift also seems to make it less obvious. Looks like another purchase I need to make for the truck!
[MENTION=99880]simonsay[/MENTION] thanks for the measurements too. I saw them earlier in your posts so it does look like there is a 2" rake then after all. Don't know how much sag to expect out of the rear. Maybe I'll ask Toytec if they can swap the 2" lift rear-springs for 1 and 1/2" lift ones.

I was thinking the same thing, 1 1/2 would be nice in the rear. Toytec does sell a Sway-a-way 1.5 for the rear. Wonder if they would swap that out for the 2" in the package. If you call them let us know.

Definitely an option I have considered. Honestly till I found out about this complete 2" kit I was going the route of the top plate spacer.

The 2" option gives you a wider tire selection down the line though...
