After 12 long months and countless hours spent on craigslist, I finally am a proud owner of a 5spd 4x4! Drove down to San Diego and picked her up on Oct. 28th, 2013.

Ohhhhhh, you lucky son of a biscuit. Whenever I see someone with a manual 4runner, I feel EXTREMELY jealous and happy at the same time. Happy cause I now know there is one more 5speed 4runner out there running well and not sitting in a junkyard.

Got the car registered and all set. Also added clear corners and tundra horns. Turns out my intake and exhaust from the 99' wont fit/work with the 98'. Not sure what my plans are for that yet. Currently doing some tire shopping. Got my mind set on 285/75/16 BFG A/T's. May throw the new tires on the stock wheels. The TRD wheels are nice, and i want to keep them that way, haha.
Only picture i have thats "up-to-date":

Also have new spark plugs and wires, and new belts. Have to get a water pump soon. Slow and steady wins the race. So far everything is going smooth. Until next time!

How do you like the tundra horns? I installed lexus is300 horns on mine and it seems pretty quiet from inside the cab but outside i think they do the job..

Mine are quite loud actually. Inside its also a little quite, but if youre outside and close to my car, you may sh*t your pants haha.
