Trouble locating a TE in SoCal.

As my name implies, I'm a newb. But have been reading the site for a few months.

I've been looking for a TE for a while now with no luck. One deslership that I have been dealing with tells me that there are a few scheduled to be built but to ETA. That they will let me know when they can acquire it. This was about three weeks ago. Are they just stringing me along or does this seem legit.

Can you just order one?

I will have to do so as there will not be any TE's in S. FL for sale, at least not the ones I want. And if I am going to spend that much money, it is going to be exactly what I want.

I had to order my new 1995 f350, there were none that were available on how I wanted it, it took four months for it to come.

I just bought my 4RNR there day before yesterday and they had a black TE. Ask for Matt (714)889-9955 and tell him Erik sent you; he'll hook you up.

Got my TE from Longo, paid under invoice. Biggest dealer in So Cal they sometimes have 3 on hand. None right now it seems.

Email their Internet business group and see what they are expecting.

Get ahold of these guys - they have 2 in stock right now, this one and one in the darker silver/graphite color or whatever its called. I know they ship to CA - they had a blue one they sold from under me when I was looking - it went to CA. Not sure about the price but they have them

I may be selling my 4runner. It's a 2010 silver TE with about $6000 into it. I am located in southern Orange county.

Try Toyota of Escondido. I spent a lot of time there looking at a few TE's 3 months ago. Met up with a good salesman named Paris, in their internet department. They didn't have the color we wanted, but he worked hard to get one for us with no luck. We had to get into something bigger than what we had and happened to get it from Poway Toyota. Needless to say, I would NEVER do business again with Poway Toyota. Got ran through the ringer and they still haven't made good on their end of the so called "we'll take care of it for you" service they promised.
If I had to do it all over again, I'd of waited till Escondido Toyota got the color we wanted in stock. By the way, we looked at all SUV's from every maker and we ove our TE! You can get it with a remote start but no leather.
