Truck gun?

I conceal carry everywhere I go, but being north of 300 pounds, there is not a lot of room in the cockpit of these trucks. I am trying to find a place I can store my Glock 30 in the cab without shoving it in the door panel. It isn't readily accessible while I'm in the cab.

Anyone like to share their setups??

Under steering column if there's room or on the side of your console.
I googled "console gun holster" and got some great ideas I may try myself for a Springfield Sub 9mm.

I carry my G27 right next to the seat belt buckle. In between the seat and the console.

A cheap Mike's IWB holster works well if you don't have a passenger. Just snap your seat passenger seat belt and hook the holster belt clip on the seat belt...keeps your pistol from hitting the floor if you have to apply your brakes.....or stuff the barrel into the passenger seat. Of course both of these options only work if you don't have a co-pilot. They make under the column rigs, but it sounds like that may be a little tight. Have you thought about a shoulder rig? You could also rig up an elastic band (think thigh size ankle holster) with a velcro hook and loop closure and sew/attach a holster to it....wrap it around your thigh and just transfer your weapon from your belt holster to the thigh holster when you get in.

I keep mine in the center console, in the door, or on me. There are some great option for putting it under the steering column which is what I ultimately would like to have.

A Fobus holster mounted to passenger side of shifter trim bezel? Maybe a fastener would fit thru some of the plastic rivets in some of the Left handed plastic molded type rigs.

I've been kicking around the idea of getting a cheap stack-on lock box. It has a three button code that you pick a six digit code for ( left, right,right,center,left,fight) and it opens. The box comes with a cable that you can wrap around the seat track and attach to the box, it allows you to store it under the seat but then pull it out and quickly type in the code and open. That way you always have a secure spot for when you are in a place that can't CC a weapon.

I have a similar setup. A lockbox hidden in the compartment where the tire change tools and jack were located. That way it is hidden under a flap of carpet and the seat itself so not to attract any attention. However, that is just when i cant carry on my person. Also works for valuables if you don't want to lug them around.

If you have a Stick Holster or Ramona, tuck it between the seat (either side) and the console. If mine isn't on my hip, I tuck into the center console (also inside a Sticky Holster).

If you haven't used a Stick or Ramona, ALWAYS remove the holster before holstering the gun then stow it where you want.

Anyone buy from these guys in the past and have a Coupon Code? Im looking at 646 dollars for the covers for front and back. Ill pay it, but I am also cheap. IF I can save a buck I will.

If youre talking about wet okole, not sure about a coupon but i do believe they offer 20% discount for current/former military fwiw.

Also, for your consideration, the one and ONLY complaint ive heard about wet okoles is the dont breath as well as oem seat fabric so seeing as how you are not a small person (im not either) and how you are in AZ it may be something to ponder.

I just installed a set yesterday and cant complain so far but its only 70 where im at today. Anyways food for thought, its a big purchase so thought id throw that out there. All that said everybody who owns them seems to absolutely love them.
