True Flow air filter

That looks a lot like the Amsoil oiled drop-in filter I had on my 3rd gen. I got rid of it after contaminating the MAF a dozen times, no matter HOWmuch I blotted excess oil out of the filter before reinstalling. I also noticed no difference in power or fuel economy with the drop-in.

I have the TRD on my '08 now. Definitely a slit increase in the butt dyno. I can't say if I noticed any change in fuel economy despite maintaining strict, hand-calculated records.

as far as cleaning kit for the trueflow, use a brand call unifoam, they are foam filter cleaning kit for motorcycle, its the same thing, same directiong as the trueflow stuff too, works great. remember unifoam is the only thing to use on trueflow now.

Yep, I emailed unifoam and they pretty much said the same thing. So I ordered one of their kits. Worked great.
