It's probably the most ideal place to put it for what I do, but finding the right material to make it with may be a problem. Really dont think I'm going to find a snorkel from something else that would fit there correct. Might take some more time, beer, and thinking.
i think you just solved your problem.... drink more beer, and with the empty beer cans fab one up...:beer:

A thought - instead of running a snorkel on the exterior, why not bring the air intake into the cabin instead?
Thanks, cost is at about $500 so far, so fun to drive, did awesome on the big hills and rocks too, just waiting for my friend to Email me the video.
More like $563, but it's not completely done either.
yeah, a $500 turbo setup makes me very leary. im guessing its just a blower stuck in there right? are you running an intercooler??? bov? i would also carry around some spare o2 sensors until you get an egt gauge and a way to control the egt. and my guess is that any turbo that came from a $500 kit is not gonna have a real long life, a good proper turbo usually runs $1k or more for just the unit. slapping a blower on with nothing else is a recipe for disaster in my experience. sounds great right now though. keep us updated on it! :keyboard:
as an intercooler is dependent on a few factors but, also how many PSI you are running.
