Yeah, I ordered another cv and it should be in Sat.

Today...interior.

I'm taking out the carpet, pressure washing it, running the speaker wires, and installing the 2003 seats. I've never done a seat swap before and I can tell it isnt going to be a direct fit...wish me luck.

Carpet out....gross.

Went to the junkyard the other day to sell some scrap.

4260 -175 (driver) is about 4040lbs so I don't think that is too heavy.

I took the carpet out and decided to replace the carpet pad...mud came out when I pressure washed it and nothing ever really came clean. Thanks kids!

The carpet is drying and me and the kids cleaned every trim piece that came off with armor all and simple green. Still trying to figure out the seat thing but the project is still moving along. Im headed to the store for some carpet pad.

dude we washed my brother 95 F150 carpet with my power washer and scrubbed in purple power gal jug from walmart. Shiz is amazing! i use if for degreasing things. its a great soap. if you nor satisfied with the carper being clean, (and i mean looking brand new!) buy a jug of that, spray it with the garden hose and do some scrubbing with that soap. it will sud up and clean the carpet like new.

Yeah, I'm going to have to try something. Its dried and still looks horrible. Im getting weathertechs or husky liners soon so im not reall worried about it but its unacceptable right now...

You can get a brand new molded carpet (aftermarket of course) for around $250, maybe look into that? The only thing is it doesn't have any cuts or holes, so you'll have to lay it out and go crazy with a box cutter but it will be custom molded to the floor

So, I went by Wal Mart this morning and bought some Purple Power. I spot treated the carpet and got that stuff pretty much everywhere. I scrubbed it in with a brush and let it set about 30 mins. Then I used the squeegee method and rung the whole thing out..back carpet and fender wells too. I repeated this a couple of times but maybe waitied about 10 mins. I have to say this stuff is awesome. Parts of the carpet look new and it has improved vastly. I'll just hit it with the vacumn and call it done. Considering how old it is and what it has been through, I cant be too disappointed. I think with the floor liners I will be fine for now. The carpet is out there baking in the Texas sun...high of 95 today.

I'll doa better side by side when it dries.

I think that is definitely going to happen some time in the future and after seeing how easy it is to pull the carpet out I dont feel bad about putting that off until later...just wish I had it sitting in front of me right now :sobbing:

Did you power wash it again after your used soap? Jw?

Yeah I'm going to do the exact same thing in a month when I install my lift. Take the carpet out and clean the crap out of it!

I'm glad it helped. I like that stuff. And it's not too expensive. Like $15 for a gal

No, I didnt have access to the power washer today and i didnt feel like lugging it up to the car wash. For that bottle it was 4.95 they had a bigger one, a gallon or more i think, for 11.95. I used about half the bottle.

Im not sure yet...265 75 16 or 285. Still looking at pictures trying to make up my mind.

if you can wait a month, ill have a 3" font and 3.5 lifts in the rear with 265-70-16s ill take pictures for you

The tires are going to go on last so I've got time to figure out exactly what I want/can afford. Its got 265 70 16 on there now and they are way small even if they are street tires.

New padding installed. I put the carpet back in this morning and it looks really good. I couldnt believe it. Still dirty but very happy.

Loooking great so far! The Satoshi grill turned out great, hopefully I will get to that myself later this summer. And big props on the carpet. I'll never understand why Any cars have carpet in them, let alone off-road prone rigs!
