Ultimate overland ideas....

I posted this on the overlanding reddit and it looks like it got taken down because some mod wasn't paying attention and thought I was looking for specific vehicle advice rather than just trying to start a conversation..
ANYWAYS- feel free to comment your thoughts on this sort of idea, I understand its not very practical for day to day use, this is just a daydream


Im gonna go ahead and preface this with: I am currently in no situation to try this and I also have no experience in overlanding
BUT
Ive had an idea stuck in my head for a few days now that is sort of an Overlanding/bugout/SHTF "ultimate" vehicle that I just WISH that i could see something close to appease my imagination.
I want to see a superduty or ram with a 6.7L diesel engine, a 10 foot conventional bed, mega cab on a 6"coilover lift with 38-40 inch tires

Turbo back exhaust that retains muffler but removes DPF and need for DEF

2-3 spare batteries under truck bed with access through bed floor. Wired for accessory power or as alternate main power

4.88-5.13 gears
Oil, Diff, Trans deep pans
PTO air compressor
E-Lockers
Accessories:
Inflate/deflate tires from inside the cab
Decked storage system
Max trax
Hi lift jack
60+ gal water tank under vehicle on opposite side of fuel tank to balance the weight
Water collection/filtration
Water pump for showers/ cleaning
Recovery gear and storage- including a land anchor

I guess your lifestyle and needs would dictate how practical (or not) it is to have such a large vehicle. We went with a van as my wife's dd and she loves it. We average around 18 empty and 14 hauling a loaded 7k# trailer.

Short story-we were stopped at a red light in Anchorage and got rear ended by a ZJ sliding through the light. Messed up the Jeep pretty bad. At the time we had a step/tow bumper. It may have bent it little but we both looked at each other when it happened and we started looking around because we could not really tell if we'd been hit or not. So yeah you got to pay the fuel to move that beast but it's like driving a tank.
