I am installing an Auxbeam switch panel and trying to figure out which (if any) under hood fuse to use for the fuse tap. I have tried several. but they all seem to have power all of the time. 2013 Limited if it matters.

Can you clarify what you are trying to do?

Are you looking for a fuse you can piggyback off that only comes on with ignition? What is the total power draw you are expecting?

There are no acc fuse under the hood. The guide that you get or video you see people are tapping to are mostly on all the time. When I ran my auxbeam switch panel, I ran a single wire to the acc fuse under the dash. Just extend that wire then either tape it or use a wire sleeve and run them together through the firewall.

On the 4Runner I found out that the firewall grommet has provision to run another wire through without going on the side of the grommet nor cutting a slit. It’s right below the hood latch cable. Looks like a nipple just cut the tip and run the harness along with the acc wire through it. I used the good ole hanger and tape. Hope that helps.
