Underbody LED Kits

If you 4rnner isn't lifted, which it doesn't seem to be by your signature, I think it will work fine. I saw one yesterday with a kit and it looked really slick. Go for it if you really want it, and if its a buy 1 get 1 free, I'll take the other off your hands =)

"very rice" is an understatement! :boink: but to each his own right!

The good thing about this kit is if you're feelin ricey turn it on if not then turn it off, so i say sure go for it. ;):

I was looking underneath the 4Runner near the bumper and it looked pretty tight back there, especially w/ the spare tire there. The front and side installs shouldn't be too hard though. I was hoping someone might have done one already on their 4Runner; let me try the other fast and furious sites including my own at v6p...lol.

I might have to make a trip to some of the import shows in the area to see what others with SUV's are doing besides the usual crazy hydraulics and the Louis Vuitton leather interior.

I am curious as to what this looks like because i have a black 04 with 22s and my leds underglow that i ordered last week will be in pretty soon

PlasmaGlow LED Underbody Kit.

On Stunner ('07 SR5) I have a Hyper-LED setup. Set me back around $250 and I'm very satisfied with the Lights. They reach a good foot from under the car and also have a nice Strobe effect. Install of the tubes was a small hassle especially the back with the spare tire. Nothing too horrible though. But running the wiring from each tube back to the engine bay was troublesome at best. that was the greater part of the install.

added with my 5k HID headlamp and foglight conversion with the LED accents I cant be happier.

SIDE NOTE: The one downside to this whole setup is that the CPU driving the LED's is weak at best. I have only 8 different modes and only 5 Steady Colors. I am going to do some looking around and find a More powerful Processor for the Lights and will post an update when and if I do.

I'll admit it, I have some Blue LED light strips under my T4R... my wife hates them and has told me if I dont take them of she'll do some wire trimming. My cousin gave them to me, initially intended to throw them under the dash or seats or in the doors or inside somewhere.

I essentially got board one night and wired them in threw the 05 limited stock running board wiring (no longer have the running board), so they go on when doors are either unlocked or opened. I kept them real tight to the outside of the body to create a solid line down the length of the runner while completely filling the ground below. I used alot of clear silicone glue to put them in and coat them very well to withstand the mud and dirt and water from causing problems (shorts).

I do have plans to rip them out on day but for now its just fun bugging the wife on some level :boxer:

I may be ridiculed over this, but I found the one and only picture of my blue underbelly...

I like the idea of using these for parking or for working on the truck in the dark at a bad time (think of breakdown) just turn on the lights and boom now you can work with both hands!

I just like the idea of using the lights for utility needs is all.
