undercarriage skid plate pics please

I think the 0304 sports comes with the undercarriage skid plate, but not the limited... =/

All of them should come with skid plates....

All models have skidplates. The 4x4 4runners have a small skidplate under the transfer case.

thx, i just went to look at mine and expecting a big skid plate was a little one under the transfer case i must of missed when i first looked.

FYI, the stock skid plates aren't worth much though.

If you're planning to do any aggressive offroading, be sure to upgrade this Do keep in mind that nobody has any out yet so it'll all be custom

The transfer case skidplate has always been an afterthought in Toyota SUVs and trucks. The other skids (front, fuel tank, and auto tranny) are superb for stock. BTW, the skid for the auto tranny is nice (not seen often in other SUVs)...even though it is tucked up into the body (toyota is thoughtful in that way).

the skid for the transfer case looks similar to the 3rd gen. There are aftermarket skids for the 3rd gen. However, i am not sure if the attachment points are the same.

thats what I figured, I looked online for some aftermarket parts but to no success regarding a 4th gen. hopefully soon though. but if not then i would just need to get stainless sheet metal and fabricate through a friend.

I think I saw skid plates for 4th gen on JAOS website, although they are more expensive than anyone else. I could be wrong, but I was looking at buying one of their grill guards and am pretty sure they had skid plates for the 03/04 too.

The Jaos skid plates looks very nice but I can guarantee you I wouldn't want to damage those if I offroad in them! They're too clean looking!!!!

Not sure how much protection those skids offer but I'm sure it's still better than stock

Personally speaking, a custom sheet metal skid plates sound much better though. But like anything custom, it comes at a stiff price
