uneven lift

Hey guys I just picked up my truck from the shop and got a lot done to it..

light racing uca's
ome 881 coils
sonoran steel panhard bar and
265/75/16 Duratracs in load range c

I already had 890 coils in the back

Everything looks great and all but when I did a quick measurement from ground to fender I found the driver side to be almost an inch down from the passenger side...?

Ground to fender:

Driver side- 38.5
Passenger side- 39.5

The front coils were brand new so how could one side be that much lower? Could the panhard bar be pulling it down on one side?

I never mess with the front coils myself and really dont want to take it back to the shop just for a trim packer but maybe putting some trim packers on the back left will left will help..?

any other ideas...

Do you have a full tank of fuel? That would squat the Driver's side more.

Were your measurements at both wheels on each side or just one wheel per side? Also, you had front coils done? Usually the driver's side coil is a bit taller than the passenger side (someone correct me if I am wrong) to account for weight distribution. Did they put the coils on the wrong side?

Yeah I agree with Jason. They prob put the wrong coil on the wrong side. In the rear there is a right and a left.

I thought only the fronts are different side to side. The rears are the same.

If it doesnt level out after a short drive, I would take it back to them. I have 881s with aluminum spacers up front and 890s in the rear and the truck is damn near perfectly level all the way around

i thought the rears were the ones that had left and rights. (maybe the fronts as well)
lol well confusing isnt it. really i dont know, but thinking that its a good inch off that the left and right could be on the wrong sides. just my thinking.

It's because you're 2WD I have the same coils and had the exact problem before my conversion... I used 20mm of trim packers on the back left corner to remedy the situation

Assuming like the others stated that your rear coils are positioned correctly as the driver side is taller... Fronts are the same there should be a 5mm trim packer for the front left coilover

Do you know whats different between 4wd and 2wd when it comes to suspension? can anyone else chime in on this. Ill probably throw some trim packers on the back left and pray that the front end figures it out by itself. And 881 coils are definately not side specific because i checked when i got them.

Could all this be happening because its a 2.7L?

It has to do with weight distribution without having a front differential and transfer case... I talked to ARB and they sent me rear trim packers free of charge... I had to provide them with hub-fender measurements and pictures

hmm... I bought my 881 off ebay.. they were never installed for 80 bucks shipped.

I looked at the coils and they were the same height, and no markings on them besides the sticker tag saying its ome 881. I have not measures fender clearance.. but it looks pretty level..

I have a 50/50 chance on getting it right if the coils are different.

The front diff and half shafts are in the front... No doubt about that... And account for at least 100#... Transfer case in the middle yes
